On sickness and colds
If we say that we feel sick, most often we are referring to a cold. Looking at the bedstand, we can see kleenex, a drink, and a thermometer. This sickie, which is how we often refer to a sick person, certainly looks like she has a cold. It might be the flu though. Flu is short for influenza.
