The Vienna City Hall is called the Rathaus. The building serves both the city and state. For the city, the building is the seat for the mayor and for the city council. The state of Vienna is one of the nine states of Austria. The Rathaus also serve the governor and Landtag of the state of Vienna; Landtag is German for assembly. This picture was taken in November when the Rathaus was decorated for Christmas.
