Strasbourg is the capital of Alsace in northeastern France. Alsace is close to Germany and you can see the German influence in the city. Strasbourg is a beautiful and historic city as you can see in this picture. In 1988, UNESCO classified the historic center of the city as a World Heritage site. This was the first time that an entire city center was so honored.
